BEHIND THE CURTAIN

Every occurrence of phenomena or objects in the physical world is a feast for our external senses. In the absence of genuine seekers, the immanent truth behind these appearances will lie hidden forever. But, fortunately, sages of yore have passed on to us revelations in respect of cosmogonical truths.

The universe as appears to us is the ongoing handiwork of a hierarchy of active intelligences in obedience to the Divine Ideation. All religions of the world mention about them. Egyptian and Hellenic (Greek) call them THE GODS; Jewish Kabbalah refers them SEPHIROTH; Christian Bible mentions them ANGELIC HOSTS and Hindu scriptures DEVAS. These intelligences are the ones who translate the Godly archetypes into the field and sustain them during the entire period of manifestation. Also, as a link between man and God they shower their loving care on humanity, for it to coexist in celestial harmony and help them in their spiritual aspirations, keeping their stance, of course, BEHIND THE CURTAIN. Therefore, for all practical purposes the common man takes them as the de facto God.

Sephiroth (plural of sephira) consists of: 1.Kether (the crown) 2.Chokmah (wisdom) 3.Binah (understanding) 4.Chesed (mercy) 5.Geburah (power) 6.Tiphereth (beauty) 7.Netzach (victory) 8.Hod (splendour) 9.Jesod (foundation) and 10.Malkuth (the kingdom).

Angelic Hosts consists of : 1.Seraphim 2.Cherubim 3.Thrones 4.Dominions 5.Virtues 6.Powers 7.Principalities 8.Arch Angels and 9.Angels.

Deva Kingdom are there for Akasa, Vayu, Agni, water and earth.

Another classification says : Gnomes(Earth), Undynes(water), Salamander(Fire) and Sylph(Air).

Esoterically they are the THOUGHT FORMS of the Divine. Though they do not have fleshy bodies, they have characteristic appearances. They are asexual and have no sense of separation. Burdened with specific powers they are innumerable in number and are of varied ORDERS of intelligences inhabiting in superphysical worlds as a kingdom parallel to the human kingdom. Nature spirits are the lowest Orders and they dwell in the Astral world just adjacent to the Physical. Nature spirits undergo evolutionary progress to higher levels in the hierarchy.

Religious rituals and ceremonial observances are the methods to influence the kingdom BEHIND THE CURTAIN. Chanting of mantras with right intonation, lucid vision and strong Will, will attract the related intelligence to the arena of the ritual. But their presence can be seen only through clairvoyance. Offerings to fire, water, air, etc. along with related verbal sounds are aimed at propitiating these intelligences and for their benevolent response.

Repetition of religious rites and ceremonies through successive generations had resulted in consolidation of the presence of these intelligences in the mental world. Congregational practices multiply their efficacy manifold. These facts of Repetition and Congregation rejuvenate Nature as well enabling the pilgrims to such locations to feel an unforgettable MAGNETISM. Holy places are thus born.

As performers in the stage and prompters behind the curtain together make a drama wonderful, this cooperation of visible and invisible participants makes our life-drama full of wonder, beauty and meaning. Peace in heart and power in head will be for those who FEEL and EXPERIENCE the totality of the universe inclusive of its seen and unseen realms. Motive power for perpetrating all sorts of social evils will be from those who do not attempt even to think about the arcane wisdom inherited to the present progeny.

Inner Wisdom says that refraining from divulging matters of hidden world that are not at all irrelevant and untrue is equivalent to sticking on to the physical world permanently. Transcending the physical is the spiritual way of the seekers of Truth and therefore the preceding lines are presented for approaching them intuitively.
