What is Hiccup (hiccough) ? (means Hedaki / hichki)
The diaphragm muscles separate the stomach from the chest. If there is any instinctive reduction in those muscles, it is known as hiccups. There is a different and loud breathing sound in case of hiccups than the regular sound. The reason is, in case of hiccups the nerves of the diaphragm makes a jerky movement.
